The formula 1 analysis section provides various different statistics takes on the points data. This view shows the all time average F1 points per grand prix for each F1 driver.
In calculating the average points ranking, only drivers are included with a minimum of 10 GP entries. Only two digits of the average points are shown.
Drivers with equal average points are further ranked based on ascending number of GP entries.
Drivers are compared based on the average points per GP for the selected points scoring system.
Average points = total points (under the selected points system) / total nr of GPs.
Please note that only drivers with 10 or more GP entries are taken into account, in order not to skew the results based on 'single' entry drivers, like for instance the Indy 500 in the past.
